AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time salaried AI Security Vice President, this role will own security strategy, engineering, and operations, focusing on building AI security capabilities while maintaining a strong foundational security posture in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including the development of an internal AI gateway and robust security measures for consumer-facing AI surfaces
• Oversee security engineering teams, driving initiatives in AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, while ensuring secure design and compliance with technical controls
• Manage enterprise trust and readiness for funding, including customer security reviews and the development of trust artifacts to facilitate enterprise deals

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security with 5+ years in leadership roles, preferably in high-growth environments
• Deep technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Experience building new security functions from the ground up, with a focus on operational effectiveness
• Strong executive presence, capable of engaging with boards and enterprise customers on security matters
• Fluency in corporate IT management, including identity platforms and SaaS governance as integral to security strategy
