AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

Leading the charge in AI security, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will build and oversee a comprehensive security framework, including strategy, engineering, and operations, while ensuring robust protection against emerging AI threats in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage the AI security function, including the development of an internal AI gateway and robust authentication measures
• Lead security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving initiatives for secure design and automated response
• Oversee enterprise trust initiatives and security compliance, ensuring readiness for fundraising and customer security reviews

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven track record of building new security functions from the ground up
• Experience managing corporate IT functions, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
• Executive presence with the ability to engage with boards and enterprise customers effectively
