AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy in an AI-native environment, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will establish and oversee AI security functions, manage security engineering teams, and ensure enterprise trust while operating in a hybrid work setting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive AI security function, including internal AI gateway and identity management
• Lead security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving secure design and operational roadmaps
• Oversee corporate IT security, ensuring robust identity management and SaaS governance while supporting enterprise sales and compliance initiatives

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security with at least 5 years in leadership roles during hypergrowth phases
• Deep technical knowledge of AI security, cloud-native security practices, and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven experience building new security functions from the ground up
• Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with boards and enterprise clients
• Experience in managing corporate IT as part of the overall security mission
