AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

Leading the charge in AI security, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will establish and oversee the company's AI security function, manage security engineering and operations, and ensure enterprise trust while working closely with senior leadership in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the AI security function, including internal AI gateways and consumer-facing AI surface hardening
• Lead security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving secure design and automated response initiatives
• Manage enterprise trust and security narratives for fundraising and customer reviews, ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security with at least 5 years in leadership roles, particularly during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical background in cloud-native security, including AWS identity and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven ability to build new security functions from the ground up, with a focus on AI security challenges
• Experience in corporate IT management, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
• Executive presence with the ability to engage effectively with boards and enterprise customers
