AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy in an AI-native environment, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will establish and manage AI security functions, oversee security engineering and operations, and ensure enterprise trust while collaborating with senior leadership and reporting directly to the SVP of Engineering and AI.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI security capabilities, including internal AI gateways and agent identity management
• Lead security engineering teams focused on application security, security architecture, and cloud security while driving a secure-by-design roadmap
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives, including customer security reviews and compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical knowledge in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern application security tooling
• Experience building new security functions from the ground up, rather than just maintaining existing ones
• Proven ability to engage with executive teams and enterprise customers regarding security matters
• Familiarity with corporate IT management, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
