AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time salaried AI Security Vice President, this role will manage the end-to-end security strategy, engineering, and operations, focusing on building AI security capabilities while maintaining a strong security foundation in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including the development of an internal AI gateway and agent identity model
• Oversee security engineering, including AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, while driving a secure-by-design roadmap
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives, ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards while facilitating customer security reviews

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with 5+ years in leadership roles during hypergrowth phases
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven track record of building new security functions from the ground up
• Experience in corporate IT management, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
• Executive presence with the ability to engage effectively with boards and enterprise clients
