AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time salaried AI Security Vice President, this role will manage end-to-end security strategy, engineering, and operations, focusing on building AI security capabilities while maintaining a strong security posture in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including the development of an internal AI gateway and identity management for agents
• Oversee security engineering teams, driving initiatives in AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, while enhancing security protocols across the organization
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives, ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards, and facilitating customer security reviews

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security with at least 5 years in leadership roles, preferably in high-growth environments
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and security engineering practices
• Experience in building new security functions from the ground up
• Proficient in managing corporate IT functions, including identity platforms and endpoint security
• Demonstrated executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with boards and enterprise clients
