AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead security initiatives at an AI-native company, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will manage the development of AI security functions, oversee security engineering and operations, and ensure enterprise trust while working closely with senior leadership in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including the internal AI gateway and agent identity model
• Direct security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, while driving the security roadmap
• Manage enterprise trust and readiness for funding diligence, including customer security reviews and compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during hypergrowth phases
• Deep technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and security engineering practices
• Proven ability to build new security functions from the ground up
• Experience in managing corporate IT functions, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
• Strong executive presence with the ability to engage with boards and enterprise customers effectively
