AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To redefine security in an AI-native environment, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will lead the establishment of AI security functions, oversee security engineering, and enhance operations security while reporting directly to the SVP of Engineering and AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage the internal AI security function, including the development of an AI gateway and hardening consumer-facing AI surfaces
• Lead security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving initiatives for secure design and automated response
• Oversee enterprise trust initiatives, ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards while enhancing the security narrative for customer reviews and fundraising

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and security engineering practices
• Proven track record of building new security functions from the ground up
• Experience managing corporate IT functions, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
• Executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with boards and enterprise customers
