AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

Leading the charge in AI security, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will own the end-to-end security strategy, engineering, and operations while building new capabilities to address emerging threats in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including the development of an internal AI gateway and agent identity model
• Oversee security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, ensuring secure design and implementation practices
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives, including security narratives for fundraising and customer reviews, while maintaining compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during hypergrowth phases
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and security operations
• Proven ability to build new security functions from the ground up
• Experience managing corporate IT functions, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
• Excellent executive presence for engaging with boards and enterprise customers
