AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

Leading the charge in AI security, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will establish and manage the company's AI security function, oversee security engineering and operations, and ensure enterprise trust while collaborating with senior leadership in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including building an internal AI gateway and hardening consumer-facing AI surfaces
• Oversee security engineering, including AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, while driving the security roadmap and managing a team
• Own the security narrative for fundraising and enterprise sales, ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with 5+ years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Deep technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven ability to build new security functions and manage corporate IT as part of the security mission
• Strong executive presence with experience in engaging with boards and enterprise customers
• A bias toward enablement, focusing on making secure paths efficient and effective
