AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

Leading the charge in AI security, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will develop and manage security strategies, engineering, and operations while ensuring a robust security posture in a dynamic remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including the implementation of an internal AI gateway and robust access controls
• Oversee security engineering teams, driving initiatives in AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec while maintaining a secure-by-design approach
• Manage enterprise trust and readiness for fundraising, including customer security reviews and compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security with 5+ years in leadership roles, particularly during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven experience building new security functions from the ground up
• Executive presence and ability to communicate effectively with boards and enterprise customers
• Familiarity with corporate IT governance, including identity platforms and SaaS administration
