AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

Leading the development of AI security initiatives, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will own the end-to-end security strategy, engineering, and operations while ensuring compliance and trust posture in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage the AI security function, including the development of an internal AI gateway and hardening consumer-facing AI surfaces
• Lead security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving secure design and automated response playbooks
• Oversee enterprise trust initiatives, including security narrative for fundraising diligence and customer security reviews

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with 5+ years in leadership roles during hypergrowth phases
• Deep technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and security engineering practices
• Experience building new security functions from the ground up
• Strong executive presence with the ability to engage with boards and enterprise customers
• Familiarity with corporate IT management, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
