AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time salaried AI Security Vice President, this role will manage the end-to-end security strategy, engineering, and operations while building new AI security capabilities in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including the development of an internal AI gateway and agent identity management
• Oversee security engineering teams, driving initiatives in AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec while enhancing security operations and compliance
• Manage enterprise trust and security narratives for fundraising and customer reviews, ensuring robust technical controls and compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with 5+ years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern application security practices
• Proven experience building new security functions from the ground up
• Ability to effectively communicate with executives and enterprise customers regarding security matters
• Experience managing corporate IT functions as part of the security mission
