AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy in an AI-native environment, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will build and oversee the AI security function, enhance security engineering, and manage corporate IT while representing security to the executive team and enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including building an internal AI gateway and hardening consumer-facing AI surfaces
• Oversee security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving a secure-by-design roadmap
• Manage enterprise trust and readiness for fundraising and customer security reviews, ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security with at least 5 years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Deep technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven experience in building new security functions from the ground up
• Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with boards and enterprise customers
• Comfortable managing corporate IT as part of the security mission
