AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

Leading the charge in AI security, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will establish and oversee the AI security function, enhance security engineering practices, and ensure enterprise trust while collaborating closely with senior leadership in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and implement the internal AI security function, including agent identity management and prompt abuse detection
• Lead security engineering initiatives across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec while driving a secure-by-design roadmap
• Manage enterprise security operations and trust narratives for customer reviews and fundraising diligence

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security with at least 5 years in leadership roles during hypergrowth phases
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven ability to build new security functions from the ground up
• Experience with corporate IT management, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
• Excellent executive presence and communication skills for engaging with boards and enterprise customers
