AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy in an AI-focused environment, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will establish and manage the AI security function, oversee security engineering and operations, and ensure enterprise trust while operating in a hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the AI security function, including internal AI gateway and access controls
• Lead security engineering teams and drive secure design initiatives across applications and cloud environments
• Manage enterprise trust efforts, including security diligence for fundraising and customer security reviews

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during hypergrowth phases
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven ability to build new security functions from the ground up
• Experience in corporate IT management, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
• Excellent executive presence and communication skills for engaging with boards and enterprise customers
