AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy in an AI-native environment, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will establish and manage AI security functions, oversee security engineering and operations, and ensure enterprise trust while collaborating closely with executive leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an internal AI security function, including a controlled egress for AI usage and robust identity management in cloud environments
• Lead security engineering teams, driving initiatives in application security, SecOps, and CloudSec while ensuring secure-by-design practices
• Manage enterprise trust and readiness for funding, overseeing security narratives for customer reviews and compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security, with 5+ years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth or major funding processes
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern application security tooling
• Experience building new security functions from the ground up, not just managing existing ones
• Proficiency in corporate IT management, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
• Executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with boards and enterprise customers
