AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy for an AI-native platform, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will build and oversee the AI security function, manage security engineering and operations, and enhance enterprise trust while collaborating with senior leadership in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including the development of internal AI gateways and security measures for consumer-facing AI surfaces
• Direct security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, ensuring secure-by-design practices and automated response playbooks
• Manage the security narrative for enterprise sales and fundraising, ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards while enhancing customer trust

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles, particularly during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven track record of building new security functions from the ground up
• Experience managing corporate IT, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
• Ability to communicate effectively with executives and enterprise customers regarding security matters
