AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the security initiatives at Engine, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will establish and manage the AI security function, oversee security engineering and operations, and ensure enterprise trust while navigating the complexities of AI threats and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and implement the AI security function, including internal AI gateway and agent identity management
• Lead security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving secure practices and compliance
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives, including security narratives for fundraising and customer security reviews

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years in security with at least 5 years in leadership roles, preferably during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Experience building new security functions from the ground up
• Executive presence with the ability to engage with boards and enterprise customers
• Proficiency in managing corporate IT as part of the security mission
