AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the next phase of security in an AI-native environment, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will be responsible for establishing AI security functions, enhancing security engineering practices, and overseeing corporate IT while reporting directly to the SVP of Engineering and AI.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage the AI security function, including internal AI gateways and identity models for agents
• Lead security engineering teams, driving initiatives like secure-by-design intake and automated response playbooks
• Oversee enterprise trust and security operations, ensuring compliance and facilitating customer security reviews

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security with at least 5 years in leadership roles during hypergrowth phases
• Deep technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven experience in building new security functions from the ground up
• Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with boards and enterprise customers
• Comfortable managing corporate IT functions as part of the security mission
