AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

Driving the future of AI security, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will own the end-to-end security strategy, engineering, and operations, focusing on building a robust AI security function while ensuring compliance and trust for enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, implementing controlled access and logging for internal AI usage
• Oversee security engineering teams, driving initiatives such as secure-by-design intake and automated response playbooks
• Manage enterprise trust and readiness for funding, ensuring security diligence and compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security with at least 5 years in leadership roles, preferably in high-growth environments
• Strong technical expertise in cloud-native security, including AWS identity and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven experience in building new security functions from the ground up
• Deep understanding of AI security challenges and solutions, including prompt injection and data exfiltration
• Executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with boards and enterprise customers
