AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy for an AI-native platform, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will be responsible for establishing AI security functions, overseeing security engineering and operations, and managing enterprise trust initiatives, all while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI security capabilities, including an internal AI gateway and agent identity models
• Lead security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving a secure-by-design roadmap
• Manage enterprise trust and security diligence for fundraising and customer reviews, ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security with at least 5 years in leadership roles, preferably during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern security tooling
• Proven experience building new security functions from the ground up
• Executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with boards and enterprise customers
• Comfortable managing corporate IT functions as part of the security mission
