AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy for an AI-native company, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will establish and manage the AI security function, oversee security engineering and operations, and ensure enterprise trust while working closely with executive leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an AI security function, including internal AI gateways and agent identity management
• Lead security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving a secure-by-design roadmap
• Manage corporate IT security, including identity management and endpoint governance, to support overall security objectives

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security with 5+ years in leadership roles, preferably in high-growth environments
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven experience building new security functions from the ground up
• Ability to engage with executive stakeholders and manage enterprise-level security reviews
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks and security controls such as SOC 2 and PCI
