AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy and operations at Engine, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will establish AI security functions, oversee security engineering, and enhance enterprise trust while collaborating with senior leadership in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI security capabilities, including internal AI gateways and agent identity management
• Lead security engineering teams in AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec to drive secure design and operational excellence
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives and security compliance, facilitating customer security reviews and supporting fundraising efforts

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security, with 5+ years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven experience in building new security functions from the ground up
• Ability to communicate effectively with executive teams and manage enterprise-level security reviews
• Familiarity with corporate IT governance, including identity platforms and SaaS administration
