AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead security initiatives at a cutting-edge AI-native company, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will manage the development of AI security functions, oversee security engineering and operations, and ensure enterprise trust and compliance while collaborating with senior leadership in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage the AI security function, including internal AI gateway and agent identity frameworks
• Lead security engineering teams in AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec while driving security roadmaps and operational improvements
• Oversee enterprise trust initiatives, including security diligence for fundraising and customer reviews, while maintaining compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in cloud-native security, including AWS identity and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven experience building new security functions from the ground up
• Executive presence with the ability to engage with boards and enterprise customers effectively
• Current knowledge and conviction regarding AI security challenges and solutions
