AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time VP of Security, the successful candidate will own the end-to-end security strategy and operations, focusing on building AI security capabilities while managing existing security functions and representing security to executive leadership and enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including the development of an internal AI gateway and agent identity model
• Oversee security engineering initiatives, including AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, while driving a secure-by-design roadmap
• Manage enterprise trust and readiness for funding diligence, including customer security reviews and compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Deep technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and security engineering practices
• Proven experience building new security functions from the ground up
• Strong executive presence and ability to communicate effectively with boards and enterprise customers
• Comfortable managing corporate IT aspects as part of the security mission
