AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy at Engine, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will establish and oversee AI security functions, manage security engineering teams, and enhance operational security while reporting directly to the SVP of Engineering and AI.

Key responsibilities

• Build and implement the internal AI security framework, including controlled access and monitoring for AI usage
• Lead security engineering efforts, focusing on application security, security architecture, and cloud security, while driving a secure-by-design roadmap
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives, ensuring compliance with security standards and facilitating customer security reviews to support fundraising and enterprise sales

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and security operations
• Proven experience in building new security functions from the ground up
• Ability to engage with executive leadership and represent security interests to stakeholders
• Familiarity with corporate IT management, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
