AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead security initiatives at a rapidly evolving AI-native company, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will establish and manage AI security functions, oversee security engineering and operations, and ensure enterprise trust while working closely with senior leadership and reporting to the SVP of Engineering and AI.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage the AI security function, including internal AI gateways and agent identity models
• Lead security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving a secure-by-design roadmap
• Own the security narrative for fundraising and enterprise sales, ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security with 5+ years leading security organizations, preferably during hypergrowth phases
• Deep technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and security engineering practices
• Experience building new security functions from the ground up with a focus on innovative solutions
• Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with boards and enterprise customers
• Fluency in corporate IT management, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
