AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy at Engine, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will manage the development of AI security capabilities, oversee security engineering functions, and ensure enterprise trust readiness, all while operating in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including building internal controls and hardening consumer-facing AI surfaces
• Direct security engineering teams, driving initiatives in application security, cloud security, and operational security
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives, including security diligence for fundraising and customer security reviews

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during hypergrowth phases
• Strong technical expertise in cloud-native security, including AWS identity and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven experience building new security functions from the ground up
• Executive presence with the ability to engage with boards and enterprise customers effectively
• Current understanding and conviction about AI security challenges and solutions
