AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

Leading the charge in AI security, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will establish and oversee security strategies, engineering, and operations while managing a team to address emerging threats in a rapidly evolving AI landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the AI security function, including internal AI gateways and agent identity management
• Lead security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving a secure-by-design roadmap
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives, including security diligence for fundraising and customer reviews, while maintaining compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security with 5+ years in leadership roles, preferably in high-growth environments
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven ability to build new security functions from the ground up
• Experience managing corporate IT functions, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
• Executive presence and the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and enterprise customers
