AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy in an AI-native environment, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will build and manage the AI security function, oversee security engineering and operations, and ensure enterprise trust while collaborating closely with executive leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including the development of an internal AI gateway and agent identity model
• Direct security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving secure design and automated response initiatives
• Manage enterprise trust and compliance efforts, including security reviews and technical controls for SOC 2 and PCI compliance

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in cloud-native security, including AWS identity and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven ability to build new security functions from the ground up
• Experience with securing AI technologies, including knowledge of prompt injection and data exfiltration risks
• Executive presence with the ability to engage effectively with boards and enterprise customers
