AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy and operations at Engine, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will build and manage the AI security function, oversee security engineering and operations, and ensure enterprise trust as the company navigates future funding and AI integration.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage the AI security function, including internal AI gateway and agent identity models
• Lead security engineering teams, driving secure design and automated response initiatives across the organization
• Own security narratives for enterprise sales and fundraising, ensuring compliance and trust artifacts are in place

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security with at least 5 years in leadership roles, preferably during hypergrowth phases
• Deep technical expertise in cloud-native security, AppSec, and AI security concepts
• Experience building new security functions from the ground up
• Strong executive presence and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Fluency in managing corporate IT as part of the security mission
