AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To define how an AI-native company defends itself, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will own the security strategy, engineering, and operations while building new AI security capabilities and representing security to the executive team and enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including the development of an internal AI gateway and hardening consumer-facing AI surfaces
• Oversee security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, while driving a secure-by-design roadmap
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives, ensuring compliance with security standards and facilitating customer security reviews

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with 5+ years in leadership roles during hypergrowth or major fundraising processes
• Deep technical knowledge of AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven ability to build new security functions from the ground up
• Experience managing corporate IT functions, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
• Strong executive presence and communication skills for engaging with boards and enterprise customers
