AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the charge in AI security, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will establish and manage the security function at Engine, focusing on developing AI security capabilities, overseeing security engineering, and ensuring enterprise trust readiness in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and implement the AI security function, including internal AI gateway and agent identity management
• Lead security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec while driving a secure-by-design roadmap
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives, including security diligence for fundraising and customer security reviews

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security with at least 5 years in leadership roles, preferably during hypergrowth phases
• Strong technical expertise in cloud-native security, including AWS identity and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven experience building new security functions from the ground up
• Deep understanding of AI security challenges, including prompt injection and data exfiltration
• Executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with boards and enterprise clients
