AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead security initiatives in an AI-native environment, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will build and manage the AI security function, oversee security engineering, and enhance operational security while collaborating with executive leadership and ensuring compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including the development of an internal AI gateway and agent identity management
• Direct security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving the roadmap for secure design and automated responses
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives, including customer security reviews and compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with 5+ years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and security engineering practices
• Proven ability to build new security functions from the ground up, not just maintain existing ones
• Experience with corporate IT management, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
• Exceptional executive presence, capable of engaging with boards and enterprise customers effectively
