AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy and operations at Engine, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will establish a new AI security function, oversee security engineering initiatives, and enhance enterprise trust while collaborating with senior leadership in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and implement the AI security function, including internal AI gateway and agent identity management
• Lead security engineering teams, driving secure design, automated responses, and identity management across platforms
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives, ensuring compliance with security standards and facilitating customer security reviews

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern application security practices
• Proven experience in building new security functions and teams from the ground up
• Ability to navigate corporate IT, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
• Executive presence with experience in engaging with boards and enterprise customers on security matters
