AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To redefine security in an AI-native environment, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will lead the development of AI security functions, oversee security engineering, and manage operations security while collaborating closely with executive leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including the development of an internal AI gateway and consumer-facing AI security measures
• Direct security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving a secure-by-design roadmap and automated response playbooks
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives, ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards while facilitating customer security reviews and trust artifacts

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with 5+ years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and security engineering practices
• Proven track record of building new security functions from the ground up
• Experience with corporate IT management, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
• Executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with board members and enterprise customers
