AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the security initiatives at Engine, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will manage the development of AI security functions, oversee security engineering and operations, and ensure enterprise trust readiness while collaborating with senior leadership and representing security to executive teams and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage the AI security function, including internal AI gateway and identity models
• Lead security engineering teams across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving security roadmaps and operational controls
• Oversee enterprise trust initiatives, including security diligence for fundraising and customer trust artifacts

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with 5+ years in leadership roles during hypergrowth phases
• Strong technical background in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven experience building new security functions from the ground up
• Executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with boards and enterprise customers
• Comfortable managing corporate IT aspects as part of the security mission
