Job Summary
To define the security posture of an AI-native company, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will build and lead the AI security function, oversee security engineering and operations, and manage enterprise trust initiatives while collaborating closely with senior leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Establish and manage the AI security function, including internal AI gateway and agent identity models
- Lead security engineering teams in AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving security initiatives and roadmap execution
- Own the security narrative for enterprise sales and fundraising, ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards
Required qualifications
- 12+ years in security with at least 5 years in leadership roles, ideally in hypergrowth environments
- Deep technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and security engineering
- Experience building new security functions from the ground up
- Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with boards and enterprise customers
- Familiarity with corporate IT governance, identity platforms, and SaaS management
