AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the next phase of security in an AI-native environment, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will manage the establishment of AI security functions, oversee security engineering and operations, and enhance enterprise trust while collaborating closely with senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI security strategies, including an internal AI gateway and agent identity management
• Lead security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, ensuring secure design and compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards
• Enhance operational security practices, including insider threat monitoring and contractor access controls

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security with 5+ years in leadership roles, preferably in high-growth environments
• Strong technical expertise in cloud-native security, including AWS identity and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven experience building new security functions from the ground up
• Deep understanding of AI security challenges, including prompt injection and data exfiltration
• Ability to engage with executive leadership and represent security interests effectively
