AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy and operations at a rapidly growing AI-native company, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will establish a comprehensive AI security function, oversee security engineering, and manage corporate IT while ensuring enterprise trust and compliance readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the AI security function, including an internal AI gateway and robust identity management
• Lead security engineering teams in AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving the security roadmap and operational improvements
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives, including customer security reviews and compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven track record of building new security functions from the ground up
• Experience managing corporate IT functions, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
• Executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with boards and enterprise customers
