AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy at an AI-native company, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will build and oversee AI security functions, enhance security engineering and operations, and ensure enterprise trust while collaborating with senior leadership in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage the AI security function, including implementing internal AI gateways and hardening consumer-facing AI surfaces
• Lead security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving a roadmap focused on secure design and automated response
• Own the security narrative for enterprise sales and fundraising, ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards while managing corporate IT security

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security, with 5+ years in leadership roles during hypergrowth or major fundraising processes
• Deep technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven experience in building new security functions from the ground up
• Strong executive presence, capable of engaging with boards and enterprise customers on security matters
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and privacy programs related to security compliance
