AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy for a growing AI-native platform, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will establish an AI security function, oversee security engineering and operations, and enhance enterprise trust while collaborating with senior leadership and managing corporate IT.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the AI security function, including internal AI gateway and agent identity management
• Lead security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving a secure-by-design roadmap
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives, including security diligence for fundraising and customer reviews, while ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security with at least 5 years in leadership roles during hypergrowth phases
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven ability to build new security functions from the ground up
• Experience in managing corporate IT, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
• Excellent executive presence and ability to engage with boards and enterprise customers effectively
