AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy and operations at an AI-native company, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will establish an AI security function, oversee security engineering, and enhance enterprise trust while collaborating closely with senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage the AI security function, including internal AI gateway and agent identity models
• Lead security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving security initiatives and roadmaps
• Enhance operational security and enterprise trust, ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards while supporting customer security reviews

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security with 5+ years in leadership roles, ideally during periods of hypergrowth
• Deep technical expertise in cloud-native security, including AWS identity and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven ability to build new security functions from the ground up, with a focus on AI security challenges
• Strong executive presence and experience engaging with boards and enterprise customers
• Understanding of corporate IT functions, including identity management and SaaS governance
