AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy in a dynamic environment, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will oversee the development of AI security functions, manage security engineering teams, and ensure enterprise trust while operating remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including internal AI gateway and agent identity management
• Direct security engineering efforts across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving a secure-by-design roadmap
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives, including security diligence for funding and customer reviews, while maintaining compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with 5+ years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
• Proven expertise in AI security, including knowledge of prompt injection and model-mediated data exfiltration
• Experience in building new security functions from the ground up, not just operating existing ones
• Strong understanding of cloud-native security practices, particularly in AWS environments
• Excellent executive presence, capable of engaging with boards and enterprise customers effectively
