Job Summary
To lead the security strategy and operations at Engine, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will build and oversee AI security functions, manage security engineering and operations, and enhance enterprise trust while working closely with executive leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Establish and manage the AI security function, including the internal AI gateway and consumer-facing AI surfaces
- Lead security engineering efforts, including AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, while driving a secure-by-design roadmap
- Oversee enterprise trust initiatives, including customer security reviews and compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards
Required qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in security, with 5+ years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth
- Strong technical knowledge in AI security, cloud-native security, and modern AppSec tooling
- Proven experience in building new security functions from the ground up
- Executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with boards and enterprise customers
- Comfortable managing corporate IT functions as part of the security mission
