AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time VP of Security, this position will own end-to-end security strategy, engineering, and operations, focusing on establishing AI security capabilities while maintaining a robust security posture in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including building an internal AI gateway and hardening consumer-facing AI surfaces
• Oversee security engineering efforts, including AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, while driving a secure-by-design roadmap
• Manage enterprise trust initiatives, including customer security reviews and compliance with SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security with at least 5 years in leadership roles, ideally during hypergrowth phases
• Strong technical expertise in cloud-native security, including AWS identity and modern AppSec tooling
• Proven ability to build new security functions from the ground up
• Experience securing AI or LLM products at scale is a plus
• Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with leadership and enterprise customers
