AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

To lead the security strategy at Engine, the full-time salaried AI Security Vice President will establish an AI security function, manage security engineering efforts, and oversee corporate IT while ensuring compliance and trust for enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Build and implement the internal AI security framework, including identity management and prompt abuse detection
• Lead security engineering teams across AppSec, SecOps, and CloudSec, driving secure design and automated response initiatives
• Manage enterprise trust and security compliance, facilitating customer security reviews and maintaining technical controls for SOC 2 and PCI standards

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security with at least 5 years in leadership roles, preferably during periods of hypergrowth
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and security engineering practices
• Experience building new security functions from the ground up, not just managing existing ones
• Proficiency in managing corporate IT functions, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
• Demonstrated executive presence and ability to communicate effectively with boards and enterprise customers
