AI Security Vice President

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time VP of Security, this role will own the end-to-end security strategy, engineering, and operations at Engine, focusing on building AI security capabilities while maintaining a robust security posture.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI security function, including the implementation of internal AI gateways and security measures for consumer-facing AI surfaces
• Oversee security engineering teams, driving initiatives for secure application design, identity management, and automated security responses
• Manage enterprise trust and readiness for fundraising, ensuring compliance with security standards and facilitating customer security reviews

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security, with at least 5 years in leadership roles during periods of hypergrowth or major fundraising
• Strong technical expertise in AI security, cloud-native security, and security engineering practices
• Proven ability to build new security functions from the ground up
• Experience with corporate IT management, including identity platforms and SaaS governance
• Effective executive presence, capable of engaging with boards and enterprise customers on security matters
